Ensemble Works

Throughout our lives, we constantly search for something - it can be an object, purpose, or idea. But that journey we take in order to find what we are searching for can be turbulent, it can be calm, it can be restless. This piece takes the listener on a journey to search and find the resolution in the music. With themes ending on the leading tones and dissonant chords spread throughout the piece, where does the resolution take place?

As we go through life, we mold and become the person we are developed to be. But life always has other plans, we start to stray away from what we believe in, what we stand in. Our character starts to falter and as we move further away from our core we begin seeing a reflection of ourselves that we don't recognize. The melody starts pure, and simple but develops further away from itself to the point where it doesn't recognize itself.

Parie captures the spirit of this iconic city, weaving together moments of elegance, intensity, and grandeur. From the bustling streets to the soaring heights of its architecture, the sweeping melodies, bold harmonies, and driving rhythms, where does your journey through Parie lead?

Echoes from the Sands takes you on a journey through a mythic desert world, blending atmospheric soundscapes and exotic textures. With mysterious sounds that dawn with Zimmer-inspired drones and shifting sands. Influenced by rich Middle Eastern rhythms and nomadic melodies that guide the ensemble through ancient paths and ritualistic movement. The show fuses battle rhythms and sweeping brass, revealing mirages shifting throughout the dunes.
